“I am the Welcome Representative, and when anyone asks me about my home here I tell them it is a wonderful place to live.”

Resident of Legacy Retirement Communities
Western States Lodging & Management built its first senior living community, Legacy Retirement Residence in South Jordan, Utah, in 1996. Two years later, Legacy House of Bountiful, an assisted living community formerly known as Bountiful House, opened its doors. Since that time, we have built and opened additional senior living communities in South Jordan, Taylorsville, Ogden and Logan, Utah. Legacy Village Center for Rehabilitation & Memory Care in Taylorsville, Utah is a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility and the first free-standing Memory Care community for Western States. Legacy Village of Layton--A Continuing Care Senior Living Community, a 246-unit community that will provide a continuum of services for seniors, opened in September 2010, and is the first Western States community to provide retirement living, assisted living, memory care and rehabilitation services under the same roof. Legacy Retirement Residence of Mesa, our first community in Arizona opened in March 2009 and is the first of several communities planned for surrounding states.
Western States Lodging & Management is active in the senior communities we serve and contribute to make them a great place to live and work. Our owners also play an integral role in creating policies and procedures that govern both Utah and Arizona Utah senior living facilities. Our owners and management serve with both the Utah Assisted Living Association (UALA) and Arizona--Assisted Living Foundation of America (ALFA) and regularly interface with lawmakers to ensure that assisted living providers in Utah and Arizona are working hard for the seniors they serve.
